Esther Viola Milks Sunday, October 8, 1922 - Monday, April 24, 2017

Randolph- Esther Viola Milks, 94, of Tokarske Road, Randolph, passed away, Monday, April 24, 2017 at the Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing in Jamestown. She was born October 8, 1922 in the Town of Napoli, NY, the daughter of late Raymond Hattie King Rolfe. Esther attended a one room school in the town of Conewango and also attended Randolph Central School. She was a home maker and later worked for Bush Industries. She attended the Randolph ECHO senior nutrition lunch’s and enjoyed playing bingo and listening to country western music. She is survived by four daughters; Florence (Jack) Stacey of Randolph, Jeanette (Don) Ivett of South Dayton, Darlene (Bill) Colett of Tenn., Sandra Wisquist of SC, two sons; Norris (Claudia) Milks of AZ and James (Sue) Milks of NC, 23 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great-greatgrandchildren and her longtime companion, Maurice Reynolds of Steamburg. She was preceded in death by her husband Norris B. Milks, whom she married on September 7, 1940 and who preceded her in death on March 27, 1986, a son; Erwin Milks, daughter; Jo Anne Milks, a six siblings; Erwin, Clifford, Walter, Robert and Iva Rolfe and Mildred DePasquale. The family will receive family and friends from 11 a.m. –1 p.m. Friday in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor John Congdon officiating. Burial will be in the Randolph Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the service in the East Randolph Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6533.
